Rachel and Her Baby

We bought this doll for Rachel before she was born. It has been sitting on the window seat in her room as decoration...until now. On Tuesday I got Rachel out of her bed and as I turned around to head for the door she began smiling and literally trying to climb over my shoulder. I turned around to see what she could possibly be after. Then it dawned on me that she was looking at the doll. She loves to look and see pictures of other babies, so why woudn't she like the doll?! As I picked it up she waved her arms so I handed it to her. Instead of it now only being a decoration it is an every day toy! (Although Daddy isn't sure if she likes it because it's another baby or because it is KU!) :)

Pulling Up?

Well, not quite yet...but she sure is trying. She doesn't quite have enough upper body strength. At GGma's the other day she pulled up from her belly to her knees on the stairs and when I sit on the floor with her she tries to climb up me, but she just can't quite make it to her feet without losing her balance! I don't think it will be long though!

7 Month Pics

We had several good choices this time! I have a pretty photogetic baby I guess! The first pic below is the one I got for "the package" and then the collage at the bottom I ordered as well with 4 other pics in it. No making fun of the sunflower bow. Momma loves it! :) Oh, and I think the one here she isn't looking at the camera (3rd pic) looks like Cousin Kinley...does anyone else think so?? :)

Afternoon with Aunt Monica

Monday Rachel and I went with Aunt Monica to take some stuff to her classroom in Sedgwick. Rachel had fun looking at all the new things while Aunt Monica moved things in. :)

Sitting Up...

Rachel has been sitting up fairly well for the past couple weeks. But now she is able to get from a crawling position onto her bottom to sit up on her own. She has been able to "lean" up for a while, but now can officially sit clear up from crawling! Yay!!

The Paci

Rachel has now begun to think the paci is a wonderful thing to have...not to suck on but to chew on. It is the new teething toy! I think she likes it best since she can hold on to it easier then most toys. It is small, light and fits perfectly in her mouth.

Wedensday we went to the Harrold's house. Oh what fun we have! Thanks for having us Donna!

First Time Swimming!

Last Saturday we went for our first swimming trip. We went with Uncle Justin, Aunt Krista, and Kate. Although we didn't have the camera when we were actually in the pool, we took some pics of the girls after we came back in. She loved the water after she become comfortable with the temperature!

Brennan Comes to Visit

Brennan came over to visit a couple of days this week. Monday Aunt Jenn went to a cooking class and today she had a doctor appt. As usual, Brennan behaved fantastically and we had lots of fun. The only mistake I made was getting a yogurt to eat for myself...He insisted on helping me! So, if you are ever keeping Brennan don't plan on eating an entire yogurt yourself! :)
