So, Rachel truly is a thumb sucker. She will not take the pacifier anymore. If she is tired, she finds her thumb. When I lay her in bed I make sure her arms are up by her face, turn the monitor on, tell her goodnight and leave the room. A few minutes later we hear the "sucking" sound and shortly after that we don't hear her again until morning. Her thumb has become her "comfort" as she goes to sleep. Her Daddy was a thumb sucker, so maybe it's genetic! :)

We thought Kinley was a thumb sucker and then at around 3 months she decided she would take the paci and quit sucking her thumb. Now there is no turning back! We took it away during the day when she turned one, but she still gets it at night, and I am truly dreading the day I decide to take it away at night!
