Yesterday we got to HEAR the heartbeat for the first time. At 8 weeks we saw it on the sonogram, but we actually got to hear the bump, bump bump this time! It just keeps getting more and more real!
We also found out yesterday that the due date was moved back 3 days. So...with the due date now being on November 27th, we may very well have a "turkey baby." (For those of you who don't get it, November 27th is Thanksgiving this year.) We are also hoping that we have our new house built and finished by then...it will be pretty close. For those of you who don't have any idea what I am talking about...we got a contract on the house we live in right now this past Saturday. Closing is scheduled for May 30th. After closing is a "done deal" we will start the process of building our new home!! (Unless of course we find one that we like better in the net few days!)

A "turkey baby" would be okay but a week or so before would be better. How exciting!!! I remember hearing the heartbeat for the first time. Too bad you had to wait so long. :) (Inside joke)
That is perfect! I will be there for Thanksgiving - that's great timing!
Glad you got the hear the heart beat. I know that was exciting!
