Rachel's First Tube Ride

Rachel had her first tube ride with Momma, Gma Oakley, Aunt Krista, Cousin Kate, and Aunt Shelly. She really enjoyed the ride even though she DESPISED the life jacket!

Big Cliffty

There is a cliff on Beaver Lake. It was about a 20 minute boat ride away from where we camped. There is usually a swing you swig off of, but the water was so high you could barely swing. The boys tried then decided to just jump off the cliff instead!

I was very surprised to see Justin and Anthony make the jump and was glad Daddy wasn't there to jump too. Made me kinda nervous, but it all turned out just fine! While we were at the cliff, there was a Bachelor Party going on as well. Several men from that group jumped, including a 70 year old man! For some reason I don't see GGpa making the jump...maybe next year! lol

Dress From Aunt Jess

Aunt Jessica made Rachel a pillowcase dress and had GGma dropped it by a couple weeks ago. We didn't get it put on for pics until now! Thank you Aunt Jessica! :)

( And just for the record, Rachel is standing on her own in the first pic. It only lasted about 5 seconds, but I let go to take the pic and she stood there! ) :)

Here...Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!

Rachel likes Aunt Monica's cats just as much as she likes our dogs...maybe more! The black and white one is Ricky. He is deaf, so he doesn't hear Rachel sneak up on him. He's a pretty good sport most of the time... Lucy on the other hand, doesn't really want anything to do with Rachel. She runs away every chance she gets! But we got some cute pics while the short time lasted! :)

Laughing At Macy

Rachel absolutely loves the dogs. Macy is really the only one who tolerates being messed with though...Samson and Jack run away when they see Rachel coming, but Macy holds out as long as she can. The other night Macy tried to save herself by hopping up in the rocking chair. Apparently Rachel thought it was hilarious...

"Playing" In The Bath

Rachel absolutely loves the water! Friday was the first day Rachel got to actually "play" in the bath. In the past, baths have been get in, wash, and get out...just for times sake. But letting her play helps us both out.... While Momma is doing her make-up and hair, Rachel is confined and doesn't even know it! Another thing that make my life easier. :)

Quiet Isn't Always A Good Thing! :)

I was sitting on the couch reading a book last Thursday and suddenly realized things were very quiet and Rachel was no longer playing her toys on the living room floor. I had closed all the doors to the bedrooms, bath room, and laundry room, and there is a gate on the stairs, so I knew she couldn't be too far. As I walked around the bar in the kitchen, this is what I saw! I guess I better not get to deep in my books anymore! :)

Then as I stood there quietly taking pictures...

Another Zoo Day

On Tuesday we went to the zoo with Gma, Aunt Jennifer, Brennan, and Daddy! Daddy didn't have a route that day, so he was home early and got to go with us! So much fun! The tigers are new at the Sedgwick County Zoo. And as always, we go see the gorillas. We saw all kinda of animals, but Momma's camera battery died after these! Rachel even stayed awake for the entire trip this time! That's a first! :)
