ABC Ball

She has finally figured out if she spins the ball it will sing to her! She loves it! Daddy was out in the garge last night and I opened the door to ask him something... he stops me and says " Is she doing it herself?!" I think he was as happy as she is! :) She is changing so much!

I Love to Play!

Rachel is playing on the floor with her toys for long periods of time now! She plays on her own and Momma gets more done around the house! Yea!!!

Sippy Cup

Rachel tried using a sippy cup for the first time last Friday. (May 22nd) She seemed to do okay. We use it every now and then... just introducing it!

For those of you who don't believe us...She is now doing this on a regular basis. Last night was the first time she crawled a long ways. She crawled clear across our bed and of course by the time we got the camera, she stopped! This is a video I took this morning. A few scoots at a time! :)

Aunt Monica's Birthday Party

Gma Skiles planned a surprise 30th birthday party for Aunt Monica on Saturday afternoon. It was a fun time! After the party, Momma and Daddy went downtown to watch the fireworks with Aunt Monica and some of her friends. Since we were out pretty late, Rachel spent the night with Gma Skiles for the first time! Thank you Gma for keeping her! And Happy Birthday Aunt Monica!!! :)

Poor Mr. Ducky

When I was pregnant I wondered how our dogs would ever learn that Rachel's toys were not theirs to play with. To my surprise they had been doing pretty good...until Easter. Rachel got this little ducky in her Easter basket. The dogs will absolutely not leave this alone!! They don't tear it up, they just walk around the house with it in their mouth like it is their "catch of the day." I spank them, yet they still do it over and over again. Mr. Ducky may have to become a dog toy instead of a baby toy. Rachel won't mind, she didn't ever like him much anyways! :)

"Officially" On the Go!!!

Rachel took 4 scoot/lunges last night. She was doing it on her own while trying to get to her toy, then she really was on the move when i set the bottle in front of her. Just like her cousin, Kinley...this girl will do anything for food!

Where does the time go?!! She is now 6 months old!!! If the next 6 months go as fast as the first, she will be a year old before I know it! We have her pictures tomorrow. I will have them up as soon as I get them!

Yesterday Rachel's first tooth poked through! Kinda neat it came through on Daddy's birthday! It was a big day! I will try to get a pic later, she isn't really happy with me pulling her lip down! :)

Aunt Krista came over and took pictures before Daddy's birthday party Friday night. Kate and Rachel have matching dresses. I have posted pics she took of Rachel individually and will leave the "twins" picture post for Aunt Krista. She did a great job!
